Nomad Studio is a photography studio and creative space that was recently established by Mari Gitane, a photographer who initially pursued a career in law before realizing her true passion. Mari's belief that one should not be restricted to a single career or location led her to live in several countries before finally settling in Canada in 2017. Her love for newborn photography grew during this time and she soon became a master in the field. However, she was determined to challenge herself and transitioned into black and white fine art photography, which required a more professional setup than her existing newborn studio could provide. Mari's vision for her work outgrew her original studio, leading her to create Nomad Studio.
The idea for the studio was a spontaneous one, but Mari was determined to turn it into an ambitious venture. She not only needed a larger space for her own photography business but also wanted to create a place where artistic individuals could collaborate and manifest their ideas through photoshoots, gatherings, and workshops. Mari envisioned a second home-like atmosphere that would serve as an expansion of her aesthetic vision. People who visit the studio often comment on its vibrant and lively atmosphere and inquire if they can live there. Mari has succeeded in creating a creative oasis by incorporating modern furnishings with eye-catching accents and a variety of artwork throughout the space.
